It\u2019s deliberately not a modern theme park, but a place full of nostalgia. A lovingly designed walk through the world of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales\u2014quiet and unhurried\u2014just as families have enjoyed it here for generations.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nostalgia instead of thrills<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re looking for big action, this isn\u2019t the place\u2014and that\u2019s exactly what makes the Fairy-Tale Forest so special for many visitors. You stroll from fairy-tale scene to fairy-tale scene and just go with the flow\u2014a little social media detox for the whole family. There\u2019s a bite to eat on the caf\u00e9 terrace. After your walk, you also pay the admission fee there, in cash or by card. Your dog is welcome too, and there\u2019s a water bowl on the terrace.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Fairy-Tale Forest itself is step-free. From the car park, however, there\u2019s a staircase of around 30 steps up. Step-free access is possible via the path \u201cAn der Lay\u201d. It\u2019s open from early April to early November: daily from 10 AM to 6 PM in July and August, otherwise at weekends and on public holidays.
