There are as many Sylt legends as there are grains of sand on the beach\u2014stories of unwavering love, pirates, and brave freedom fighters. Faithful Ose, the dwarf kings, Finn the egg thief, and the merman Ekke Nekkepen have all found a rustic home here.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Romping between Puks and Klabautermanns<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Children can run wild on high-quality wooden play equipment in the shade of the trees, from the Klabautermann carousel to hidden Puk figures. Next to each play station is a board with the corresponding legend. The playground was created in close cooperation with the S\u00f6lring Foriining local history association.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Admission is free, the grounds are open year-round, and it is listed as a barrier-free leisure facility. During the holiday season, Sylt author Frank Deppe offers guided tours through the Legend Forest, bringing the stories to life. Dates can be found in the Wenningstedt event calendar.
