Somewhere in Ammerland, hidden behind an old brick road and a forest path, lies the Baumgefl\u00fcster resort. The luxury treehouse resort is ranked among the top ten treehouse hotels in the world by Departures magazine (New York). Beech and oak trees around 30 meters high frame the grounds, with rhododendron bushes glowing between the trunks in May and June. When you arrive here, you leave the road behind you and find yourself in a piece of forest unlike any other. <\/p>\n\n
The four tree house suites are designed for comfort: Each suite offers around 39 square meters of living space plus a terrace of around 20 square meters, space for up to four people and furnishings made from natural materials. A custom-made daybed corner awaits you in the living area made of untreated larch wood, natural slate in the bathroom, underfloor heating and a walk-in shower with a view of the greenery. Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels are included. You won’t find a television or radio here. Instead, deer come under the houses in the evening. <\/p>\n\n
The resort is located approx. 40 minutes south of the North Sea and approx. 3 km from the Zwischenahner Meer. On clear nights, it is considered a “dark sky place”: without streetlights, you have a largely undisturbed view of the starry sky.
