Spread across around 7 hectares, more than 200 trees are linked by about 17,000 meters of steel cable to form 23 exciting high ropes courses. Since opening in 2006, you\u2019ve been climbing from tree to tree here\u2014whether you\u2019re visiting as a family, with friends, with your company, or with a club. Kandel is conveniently located on the A65 between Landau and Karlsruhe. The youngest adventurers can start from age 3 on four low kids\u2019 courses, with an adult accompanying them from the ground. From age 7 and with a reach height of 1.60 m, you can take on the many practice and standard courses, ranging from easy white and green routes to challenging sections. If you want even more, try the pro courses\u2014such as the black course or the legendary Tarzan swing\u2014and, to top it all off, take the Quickjump \u201cFreefall\u201d from up to 22 meters down into the depths.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can refuel at the on-site food and drink area with snacks and beverages, and you\u2019re welcome to eat your own food on the sun terrace. There\u2019s plenty of parking right on site, with additional overflow parking at the Bienwaldhalle. Your four-legged friends are also welcome on a leash. Please remember: climbing is only allowed with sturdy, closed-toe shoes! The maximum permitted weight is 120 kg, and there are no lockers on site\u2014so it\u2019s best to leave at home anything you don\u2019t really need.
