On the Demeter-certified organic farm Hofgut Kreuma, about 25 kilometers north of Leipzig, a small treehouse perches high above the farm grounds. The minimalist cabin with a double bed, balcony, and electricity connection offers deliberately reduced comfort across 7 square meters, which is more than compensated for by fresh farm bakery rolls in the morning and the rural atmosphere.
