The unique Neckertal treetop walk combines sustainability and an experience of nature. The secrets of the forest can be discovered at eye level with the treetops and half of Toggenburg can be seen. In places, the path rises above the actual tree heights of the forest and opens up the view of the landscape above the lower-lying trees. It is secured with a steel railing on both sides with a wooden handrail. Enjoy unique insights into nature and views over the entire Necker Valley. The many adventure stations also provide a wealth of knowledge about the forest and its inhabitants.
There is a lot to learn about the forest and nature at 40 different learning and adventure stations. You can not only read, but also turn, taste, hear and feel. Some of the stations are on the path, the second part is down on the forest adventure trail.
In the forest right next to the path, there is a playground with a ropeway, ball tracks and balancing paths for children. So nothing stands in the way of a great outing for the whole family.
The treetop walk is located just outside Mogelsberg. It is about a 15-minute walk from the village to the treetop walk. Please note that direct access to the trail is only permitted by prior arrangement for people with disabilities. All others must use one of the three parking lots in the village or, better still, travel by SBB. The S2 & S4 St. Gallen-Wattwil trains stop in Mogelsberg. The journey of discovery begins at the station and leads past various adventure stations to the trail. The footpath from the Mogelsberg train station to the treetop walk is uphill (100 meters in altitude) through the forest and takes about 30 minutes. For baby carriages and wheelchairs, there is an alternative route through the village (also about 30 minutes).

Went there this morning from Schaffhausen. It's around 1 hr to get there. Entrance fee CHF 15, hardly anyone around, peaceful and quiet. A nice walk around the tree tops, and a long viewing deck at the far end. Picnic tables are available outside, as well as walking paths. Friendly team too.

A beautiful place, especially during fall time when the leafs change to all the colours. The walk itself is ruther short, you can easily walk around in ten minutes. But taking time for the view and all the information provided, it can easily take 45 minutes. For children, there's also a huge playground. There are a bunch of BBQ stations as well, so you can bring along something to put on the fire. There's a restaurant as well, of course.

A great destination not only for families with children. There is so much to do here that I can not even list everything. The main attraction is the high trail. The highest point is 45 meters above the ground. Quizzes and games are placed all along the path, which is several hundred meters long, and there is a large playground on the ground below the path. There is a store and the possibility to have picnics. There are fireplaces where you can grill your sausages, and the view is great. It is even passable with strollers or wheelchairs. It also has a toilet facility.

This February, we visited the Baumwipfelpfad Neckertal with our children. The place was great! Very informative, educational, and fun for the whole family. The quest to find a hidden wooden squirrel and punch a hole in a card motivated kids to look around and to read some facts about the local vegetation and climate. At the end, each of the children exchanged their card for a piece of tasty chocolate. The restrooms were very clean and warm. The picnic accommodations were also fantastic. Under the bridge-walk there was an excellent playground. To sum all of it up, we would love go there again.

If you are looking for treep top walk in Germany then this is not what you are thinking. If you search for the tree top walk in germany that us pretty good but somehow I ended up being here. The place is not bad at all it is quite nice but tree top experience itself is not good. I would say it is more for elderly people or children.
