The Oberbayern Treehouse Hotel is just 30 minutes north of Munich, in the picturesque community of Jetzendorf. You can choose from five treehouses and a lakeside lodge right on the water. Each treehouse offers 22 m² of living space with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a private terrace of around 20 m² with seating.
The houses differ in their amenities: Treehouse 1 comes without a hot tub; houses 2, 3 and 4 each have their own outdoor hot tub on the terrace (heated to 39°C), with Treehouses 3 and 4 also offering a private sauna. The Treehouse Suite is complemented by a panoramic window. If you want to be even closer to the water, book the Lakeside Lodge.
In summer, the hotel’s own swimming lake invites you to take a dip, and two canoes are available for you. If you’d like something more active, you’ll find a forest climbing park, an adventure mini-golf course, cycling routes and hiking trails nearby. Breakfast made from fresh, regional ingredients is brought to your treehouse in the morning.

The wellness offering goes beyond the treehouses themselves. There’s a sauna and relaxation area that you can book as a 90-minute private slot, as well as massages that take place in the relaxation room, on your terrace or outdoors.

Sauna experience

Specially designed yoga room for organised yoga retreats and relaxation classes, surrounded by the calming nature of Upper Bavaria. The yoga pavilion accommodates up to 15 participants, is fully glazed all around, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape—creating an immersive sense of connection with nature.
The hotel manager, Claudia Edinger, is a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher. In addition to the group courses, she also offers personalized

We just stayed in this hotel and quite honestly it’s not worth the price. The room which we booked is the suite room. The pillows are very flat and they smelled bad. The bathroom in the room is very dark with only minimal toiletries. The towels did not smell clean. The whirlpool was ok, small smelled like chlorine. The entire place looks like it had better days and needs to be updated. It looks like it shaggy, nobody is around in case you need something.The pictures definitely look a lot better than what the place actually looks like. Breakfast was nice but we didn’t have a table since they were more people than tables and we weee not able to sit outside since it was raining. Again, nobody told us to wait no attention at all. The young ladies helping were very nice. At checkout nobody cared to know or asked how our stay was. I do not recommend this place. Ah and don’t be fooled by the super small lake. It definitely looks bigger in the picture!
Very nice and comfortable hotel to enjoy with your couple or in family. The rooms are great, the small Lake offers a lot of possibilities, the furniture is awesome, the breakfast is excellent and last but not least, the owners are great people that like to talk and enjoy life. We will be back soon!!
