Spend the night in the trees of the Weserbergland

In the Weserbergland, on the Lüningsberg near Aerzen, three tree houses offer a panoramic view of the Humme and Beberbach valleys. Hotel Waldquelle traces its history back to 1887 and added the three tree houses Ahornhöhe, Birkenhöhe and Eichenhöhe to its offer on June 1, 2015. The location between Hameln, Bad Pyrmont and Rinteln makes the hotel a good starting point for excursions into the Weserbergland, with the E1 and Hansaweg (X9) hiking trails starting right outside the hotel.

Those who want to combine hiking and overnight stays in the forest will find peace and relaxation here. The beautiful surroundings in the Weserbergland offer plenty of space for outdoor activities. For even more wellness, there is the nearby Hufeland Therme in Bad Pyrmont or the Ith Sole Therme in Salzhemmendorf.

The Ahornhöhe is the only one of the three tree houses with a 3-star classification and is barrier-free. It is therefore also suitable for guests who require barrier-free access .

Birch height

Like the other two hotels, the Birkenhöhe is located on the Lüningsberg and offers the typical view of the Weserbergland. Further details about the facilities and capacity can be found directly on the hotel website.

Oak height

The Eichenhöhe is the third of the three tree houses at the Hotel Waldquelle. All three houses were opened together on June 1, 2015 and can be booked all year round.

I've been several times to Waldquelle restaurant. The food is always very good and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Great tranquil location with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. You often see classic cars and motorcycles passing by on the road below. Worth stopping in if you happen to be in the area!
