The Baumhaushotel Uckermark is located on the Gollin estate in the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve, around 60 kilometers north-east of Berlin. The six extraordinary tree houses were built in 2017 in the middle of one of the largest contiguous forest areas in Germany. Each of the six individually designed tree houses is furnished in a cozy, rustic style and has a veranda with seating. You can choose between different sizes: The tree houses offer space for 2 to 6 people.
The “Entenstrich” tree house is small, quiet and rustic, making it ideal for 2 people with a beautiful view of the countryside. Unlike the other five, it has no electricity and no heating. It can therefore not be used in winter. The “Hexenhaus” extends over two levels and can accommodate up to 4 people with two single beds upstairs and a double bed downstairs. The “Haselburg” is the largest tree house with room for up to 6 people.
Tree house hotel Uckermark: facilities and comfort
Each tree house is equipped with an organic dry toilet directly on site. Modern shower and washing facilities are available a short distance away, around 200 to 350 meters. Heating and electricity mean that almost all accommodation can be booked all year round. Crockery, cutlery and bottled water are provided. There is a fridge compartment in the main house. There are also extra blankets, pillows and seating inside and outside.
Culinary delights and extras
You can have a homemade breakfast with the best ingredients served directly in the treetops on your veranda. Breakfast costs 15 euros for adults and 10 euros for children. A purely vegetarian or vegan breakfast can be ordered in advance.
A fireplace with barbecue and a fire-heated barrel sauna are available for cozy evenings. Gut Gollin has a farm café and a farm store with many of the farm’s own products, including beef, game and pork. There are also various restaurants in the immediate vicinity, such as Villa Toscana and the Shanty Seegaststätte.
Location and leisure facilities
The Uckermark and the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve with its rolling hills, clear lakes and vast forests are perfect for hiking and cycling tours. It is possibleto hire bicycles and e-bikes from Fahrradservice Winkler. A small “wildlife safari” invites you to observe wild animals such as red deer and fallow deer at close range. There are also swimming lakes nearby. There is a pool on the premises, which is open from the end of April to the end of September.
