The tree house hotel Surfhostel in Ummaii is located around 6 meters high at the edge of the resort. From here, you have a direct view across the field to the Bodden and can watch the sunset in the evening. The accommodation is designed for two people and offers a double bed, a table with chairs and a small fridge. Particularly nice: the spacious terrace with sun loungers and hammocks. You can also enjoy your breakfast here in peace and quiet.

Thanks to its location and proximity to the water, the Surfhostel offers a perfect location for those seeking relaxation. The 10,000 m² site has a beer garden, an outdoor stage, a hammock park, basketball, volleyball and soccer pitch as well as many secluded corners with wild plants. The Surfhostel has a pleasant, fun, relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. There is also dancing and cheering. A tolerant and open approach between staff, who also live on the premises, and guests is what makes us special. If you want to be completely on your own and enjoy your vacation in absolute peace and quiet, this might not be the right place for you, at least in high season.

Price: €120 per night including breakfast for up to 2 people. The tree house is also suitable as a gift voucher – you can request it directly from Ummaii.

The current owner of the Tiki Bar and the hostel wants to sell and the future of Ummaii is therefore uncertain. A cooperative was therefore founded to keep the surf hostel in the hands of the community.
