The Lipno treetop walk in the Czech Republic has been offering visitors a unique nature experience since 2012. The trail is carefully integrated into the landscape around the Lipno reservoir, making it a great addition to the Lipno Active Park. The 675-meter-long footbridge ends on the platform of the impressive viewing tower at a height of 40 meters. All this makes the trail an ideal destination for active visitors, families, and seniors. It is only 92 km from Passau to the Lipno treetop walk.
The Lipno treetop walk is not directly accessible by car. You can park your car free of charge in the central parking lot. From there, you can either walk, take the cable car, or take the Stezkabus up to the entrance of the trail. The latter is also suitable for wheelchair users and families with strollers. If you’re looking for a bit of adventure, you can take the slide down from the viewing tower or hire a downhill scooter at the mountain station and ride it down into the valley. Speed and fun are guaranteed ;-).

A nice and special experience, but definitely not cheap. If you also take into account the cost of a cable car or bus to get to the site, then even an expensive experience, but definitely worth it. Amazing views of Lake Lipno open up to the eye, simply breathtaking how beautiful it is. There are several cafes nearby.

A tip from me to you: For anyone who also thinks €19 per person is ridiculous🤣, check out the Dobra Voda observation tower in Horni Plana (two villages away) – it’s FREE. Combine it with the FREE deer park just a 1-minute walk away. And enjoy a beautiful walk along the Olsina educational trail.Oh, and here parking is free too!

In my opinion, it is good that such places exist because it is difficult sometimes to plan activities for the family that are engaging enough for the small ones.
It is amazing that it was open on a Saturday, despite it being a holiday.
There could be more parking available on the location.
It can be reached by car or by cable 🚡.
There is food available at the location. There is a cool playground in front of the entrance, entry free. Not all personal speaks foreign languages.
All in all, I recommend it. I like it and I think there are not that many things to complain about.

A great place to watch the lake and it's surrounded from above.
There may be strong winds and a bit of cold, so be prepared.
Tickets are bought in the Cash Desk or in the web. If you register for lipno card, you just need to enter your email in the tickets machine to get a discount. No need for the ticket itself.
We took the cable car and all together it was expensive for a family.
You may park at almost the top in a public place for free and take a walk through the wood and buy tickets in place.
The cable car takes about 20 minutes.
The whole trip is fun and enjoyable.

Beautiful Nature. The employee who are working in slide doesn't work until 5pm. They close slide at 16:27 without giving any notice to people who is still there. Other wise places is beautiful fantastic worth visit just be carefully about time and ask them in advance.
