The nature park with the Schluchsee Treehouse Hotel has made it its mission to offer you a balance in times of stress and fast-paced living. An original and deliberately simple retreat into nature. In addition to overnight stays in the treehouse, there are barbecue areas, campsites, and the opportunity for team events. The nature camp only provides accommodations, sanitary facilities, and electrical connections. You need to bring all cooking utensils yourself. You can grill sausages at four large barbecue areas. The large barbecue area with a surface of 59 sqm is covered and protects you from wind and weather. Numerous hiking and cycling trails invite you to explore the area. You can rent bikes at the bike rental at Schluchsee.
The nature park is run by an association and the offer is primarily aimed at youth groups. There is an open “cooking hut” with storage surfaces, light, electricity, water, and sinks. Important: Please bring your own cooking utensils such as gas stoves, pots, dishes, glasses, etc. Please also bring your own cooler to keep food fresh. The barbecue areas have height-adjustable grill grates.

This is a small Naturcamping. No cars on the venue, no campers, no pitches rented for a year. Facilities are pretty basic (no washing machine, one shower area with hot water, that you can't really regulate), no kitchen, although there is some self-serve area, where you can cook (no gas, no kettle - etc). There are two small shared fridges for the entire camp (probobly not for a beer, but sufficient to cool milk/cheese/medication).nThere is also a big firepit.nVery modestly priced (i paid for 1 tent + 1 person 14 euros per day). In my experience, there are always large groups of kids (hikers, or sailing at the nearby lake), though kids are normally well behaved, go to bed early, and are not loud in the mornings.nTrain station (Aha), is 5-7 minutes walk. The camping is also close to the road, and you can hear it, although, rairoad is not used at night, and there is also limited car trafic on the road.
Sehr freundlich Bedienung.
Highly recommended! The campsite was very pleasant. I would describe it as a scout camp of sorts, perfectly set up for primary school trips and that style of stay—meant in the most positive way possible.nRight upon arrival, the lady at the reception welcomed us and showed us around the entire campsite. She was extremely kind and clearly the perfect person for the job.nThe campsite is spacious with plenty of covered seating areas suitable even for larger groups. There are also many designated spots for campfires. The shared kitchen has a nice workspace for food prep. As for the bathrooms, they are clean and perfectly fine, though you cannot adjust the water temperature. The toilets are also good. Everything is indeed geared more toward summer camps and that style of outdoor living.nThere are spots available for tents as well as modern bungalows. There is also an open space for sports and games (casual football, throwing a ball around, etc.). You can also find a few benches around that you can move wherever you need. The lake is less than a 5-minute walk from the campsite, and it is absolutely wonderful.nThe only downside I’d like to mention is that you cannot drive your car directly into the campsite. Cars must be parked outside the entrance, so you will have to carry all your gear depending on where you decide to set up your tent.
