The Kreuma Treehouse Hotel is located in the Kreuma district of the municipality of Rackwitz, about 25 kilometers north of Leipzig. The Demeter-certified organic farm is managed by owner Malte Bauer and, in addition to several vacation apartments, offers a very special overnight option: a treehouse that perches high above the farm and sways gently in time with the wind. If you are looking for an experience that deliberately foregoes luxury in favor of authenticity and atmosphere, then the treehouse at HofGut Kreuma is just right for you.
The treehouse offers a double bed, a small balcony with a view over the entire farm, and a power connection within its 7 square meters. You don’t need more than that to truly settle in. The bathroom with shower and toilet is located about 40 meters away on the farm and is shared. Mattresses and pillows are provided, but you must bring your own sleeping bags. Children are welcome from a minimum age of 6 years.
The farm itself has been renovated according to building biology principles, is allergy-friendly, and is supplied with energy via its own solar power system. As farm guests, you live right next to the bakery and can pre-order fresh rolls. From Monday to Thursday, you can drop your bakery order into the mailbox at the farm shop by 6 PM and pick up the rolls the next morning. Leipzig, with its zoo and city center, is a good 25 kilometers away and can easily be visited as a day trip.

We spent a unique and unforgettable weekend at HofGut with approximately 100 guests. From our initial contact about a year ago, Nicole and Malte's entire team went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time. From the evening snack followed by a campfire on Friday night, to delicious cakes, a fantastic buffet on Saturday evening, and a communal breakfast on Sunday – it was perfect! All the food was incredibly delicious. Cakes, bread, and rolls, some still warm from the on-site bakery, delectable dips and salads, and hot dishes and desserts that everyone raved about. Almost everything was made with regional ingredients and presented with such care and beauty. We even had a band playing on the terrace of the hall. Young and old alike enjoyed the natural charm of the farm, the animals, the many play areas, quiet corners, and the surrounding nature.Whenever we needed something (something we hadn't considered beforehand) or had special requests, someone from the team was immediately there to help.... All the guests were thrilled, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will cherish the memories of our magical days on the farm for a long time to come. This year, we had a truly wonderful wedding weekend at Nicole & Malte's farm. And what can I say? I would do it exactly the same way again. Communication with Nicole and Malte and their team was incredibly easy and friendly from the very beginning. From the initial site visit and a last-minute postponement to the following year, right up to our departure day, they supported us in every way they could.Staying at the farm made the whole weekend incredibly relaxing. We enjoyed the sauna on Friday evening, had a perfect breakfast with our closest family and friends on Saturday, and then the ceremony and reception. There was always someone available to answer our questions. The food was more than perfect, featuring regional and seasonal delicacies. It was the perfect location for children, as there was never a dull moment, and we received consistently positive feedback from all our guests about this fantastic venue. Wow, what a wonderful farm festival! A truly fantastic place for young and old. The food was delicious, and the children could play, explore, and participate everywhere. We celebrated our wedding here. Everything was simply wonderful. We stayed in the small hall. The buffet was inside, and the meal and reception took place outside. It was perfect for our group of about 50 guests, including many children. The playground and the animals were all fantastic for a relaxed day.We always felt very well looked after and advised, and we can highly recommend HofGut for a relaxed and comfortable celebration.
