Tree house at the V-Hotel Bonn

In the middle of Bonn’s Kottenforst forest, an extensive wooded area southwest of the city, the Baumhaushotel Bonn has three tree houses at treetop level right next to the V-Hotel. What makes it special: The 4-star hotel does not compromise on comfort. All tree houses are clad inside with Swiss stone pine, which is said to have a demonstrably calming effect on the heart rate. Extra-large windows open up a view directly into the forest, and a private balcony invites you to linger quietly among the treetops.

The three tree houses are called Little Red Riding Hood, Rusty Bower and Forest Spirit and each has its own character. Little Red Riding Hood catches the eye on arrival with its colorful design. Rostlaube wears its patina with pride on the outside and surprises with its warm Swiss stone pine atmosphere on the inside. Waldgeist is the consistently green variant in the trio.

The facilities are the same in all three houses: box-spring bed with direct forest view, heating, shower, WC, TV, closet, safe as well as a coffee machine and a minibar with non-alcoholic drinks, which are included in the price. High-speed WLAN is available free of charge.

Sustainability is not an accessory, but a basic principle of the V-Hotel: solar power, an efficient heating and energy system and recycled toilet paper are all part of the concept.

Free parking spaces and an e-charging station are available in the hotel parking lot. Prices for a double room in the tree house start from 184 euros per night during the week and from 221 euros at the weekend. There is a discount of up to 20 percent for stays of three nights or more.
