Fairy Tale Forest Lake Neusiedl
The Fairy Tale Forest is one of four themed worlds at Familypark at Lake Neusiedl in St. Margarethen in Burgenland, Austria’s largest amusement park. In 2026, the park was awarded best leisure and adventure park in Austria, with first place in the overall ranking and for fun factor. In addition to the Fairy Tale Forest, the themed worlds Adventure Castle, Adventure Island, and Farm await.
Four themed worlds, one day ticket
The day ticket includes unlimited use of most attractions in all themed areas, with only individual small attractions running on value coins at €1. Children under 3 have free admission, birthday children aged 3 to 14 on their birthday as well, and those arriving just two hours before closing pay the lower taster price. From Monday to Friday, there’s also a senior price from age 60.
Wheelchair users and guests with 100% disability have free admission. The season runs from March to early November, typically from 10 AM to 7 PM in summer with ticket office closing at 6 PM. The season finale features Halloween days with tent shows and parade. At the winter children’s special days, children with birthdays outside the season can claim their free admission. Online tickets are cheaper than at the day ticket office.

We had such a wonderful day here! Went on wednesday and it wasnt crowded at all, some rides were literally no queue, and the most we waited was maybe 7-10 minutes for Beaver lodge (Biberburg). It was amazing but make sure to bring extra clothes to change into as many rides are very splashy and you get out completely (or if lucky- partially) soaked. There are many rides and plenty of them are little kids and toddler friendly, also it has dragon cave, faitytale park and stuff to explore. Restaurants are nice, there are many so there were many free seats everywhere. Idk how it is on weekends but if you can I really recommend weekday! Also there are free safelock storages around the park. Loved it!

We absolutely love this place! ❤️ We’ve been coming here since our kids were 3 and 4 years old — now they’re 10 and 8 — and we’ve tried it in every season: at Easter, in summer, and in autumn as well. Most recently, we attended the Halloween party and watched the evening show at the end, which was a circus performance. The kids adored it! 🎪 The Halloween decorations were simply fantastic — so detailed and high-quality. We also really appreciate that there are plenty of restaurants and restrooms throughout the park.This time my mom came with us too — she doesn’t go on the rides, but she still loved the atmosphere, the environment, and the evening lights. ✨ We can warmly recommend this place to everyone. We’ve already been several times, and we’ll definitely be back again! 🎃👨👩👧👦
I love it here! We always have such a great time. The workers are really nice, and the atmosphere is amazing — so cheerful and full of fun. The carousels and rides make it perfect for all ages. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit!
