The Fairy Tale Forest Verden is part of an amusement park in Lower Saxony between Bremen and Hannover, formerly known as Ritter Rost Magic Park. Among the trees, classic fairy tale stations tell stories like “Hansel and Gretel” or “The Hare and the Hedgehog,” while park mascot Fabulus creates his own magic with a magic theater, photo spot, and dragon barn.
The park mixes fairy tales with ride fun: roller coaster, log flume, free-fall tower, and a good dozen carousels and rides for the little ones. From mini Ferris wheel to children’s train to handcar track. If you prefer things quieter, visit the wildlife enclosure, the Barbary macaques, and the petting zoo. Pan for gemstones at the Fabulus gemstone wash or get lost in the giant maze. For romping around, there’s a slide land, a giant sandbox, and a bouncing dune.
In the park you pay by debit or credit card; the Hexenküche restaurant also has changing rooms. Your dog is welcome on a leash free of charge. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes only; after that a fee applies. The park is largely barrier-free, with designated parking spaces right at the entrance. Open according to the seasonal calendar. Tickets are cheaper online than at the day ticket office.

The place is really amazing 🤩. On the day we were there, it was terribly cold, and still we managed to go round for more than an hour and then enjoyed really tasty steaks and Glühwein ☺️ In a warmer season it's simply outstanding here, I'm sure. The only thing is that regular tickets are a bit expensive, but the great decision is the Jahreskarte. So we bought ones and hope to visit the park again and again))
My grandchildren are 10 and 7 and were able to do almost everything themselves. Lots of exciting, accessible activities. The Dragon ride was very cool 😎 We had a fun day.
Great fun park for young kids. Plenty of carousels, some faster, some slower. There is also a fairy tale walk where different fairy tales are presented.
It's such a shame that this park is not well organized. We visit the park 4 person on a Saturday afternoon. We waited at one food station 1,5 hours, finally when we arrived in front to order the electronic sistem was broken so they start to close. We went to the next food station were we waited for 4 pizza 1,5 again, because there was working only one boy who was sooooooooooooooo slowly... It was like a bad joke. So we lost 3 hours only waiting in the lines for food. For 81 euros 2 adults and 2 kids IT WAS NOT WORTH IT! Never again we will come here and we don't recommend. Shame for the animals, this was the only nice thing here.
Nice place to spend time with kids.
