The Hoherodskopf treetop trail gives you a view from above. The world looks completely different from the treetops. In the middle of the canopy, surrounded by the forest and the elements, the people on the ground seem small and bustling. It is a wonderful place to feel closer to the sky and to sense the forces of nature. Even the swaying of the suspension bridges, the slight movement of the platforms to the rhythm of the wind are sensory experiences that do not occur in our normal everyday lives.

With a total length of 600 meters, the Hoherodskopf treetop trail winds its way through the treetops at heights of up to 12 meters. A special highlight is the observation tower, which offers a breathtaking view over the rolling hills and sparse deciduous forests of the Vogelsberg. Along the way, interactive experience stations invite you to learn more about the forest ecosystem. Since 2014, 100 meters of adventure net bridges have also been added to the offer and provide additional thrills.
The treetop path regularly offers special events, including guided full moon adventure hikes, which provide a unique experience of nature at night. Tailor-made events are offered for groups, such as companies or clubs, ranging from nature hikes and climbing activities to relaxed games of golf.

Restricted. The suspension bridges are not suitable for people with disabilities. Many other attractions are specially accessible, including a disabled toilet facility.

It's a great place to spend a day. There are tons of paths for waking, hiking, cycling and more. There are the tree bridges where the kids a lots of fun and the Rodelbahn is great. There is lots to eat and snack as well as a playground to eat. There is parking lot right on the spot with a few more spread around. It's safe to say that 3-5 hours can easily be spend without a minute of boredom. During coronavirus make sure to register before arriving and be aware that depending in the number of infections per person currently there could be restrictions so make sure to check a day before.
