The Kürnbach Fairy Tale Forest focuses on slowing down instead of roller coasters. On a wooded hillside property near Kürnbach in Kraichgau, between Karlsruhe and Heilbronn, a small fairy tale world has been built into the forest. The visit is most exciting for children between 2 and 8 years old, and depending on how much they want to play, you’ll stay for an hour or half a day.
The fairy tale trail leads about 800 meters through the forest to the fairy tale huts. There are also play areas for running around and some rides that work with coins. So bring some change with you—you can get it exchanged at the kiosk. The operator team’s tip: Let the kids play first before heading onto the trail, then they’ll listen to the fairy tales more quietly. For breaks, there’s a sofa in the reading corner, among other things.
At the snack stand you can get fries, chicken nuggets, and fresh waffles; at the kiosk, ice cream, candy, and drinks. Card payment is not possible, bring cash. Your dog is allowed on a leash, please bring waste bags. The grounds are on a hillside and the paths are not paved—visiting with a stroller is difficult and with a wheelchair only possible with assistance. Open from April to October, Mondays are closed and the forest stays closed in bad weather. On special weekends there are themed days like the scavenger hunt with Robber Rudi.

Very friendly people there. It's worth a visit.
Great Park to go out with little children

Nostalgic memories. A fairytale forest with lots of charm. We've been visiting for four generations now. The new owners are working hard to restore everything. The children listened to all the fairytales. Definitely worth the time and relaxation. There are little things to discover everywhere. The paths are uneven, but manageable with a stroller. Family-friendly prices for the rides range from 20 cents to 1 euro. The entrance fee of 30 euros for four adults and three children was definitely worth it. Parking is available right on site. It's shady and perfect for cooling off on hot days. There's a station with mosquito repellent, sun loungers, and water for your dog, in case you've forgotten yours.
