Right next to the fairytale Lichtenstein Castle on the Swabian Jura, Adventure Park Lichtenstein offers an adventure high up in the treetops. Across 11 courses with more than 200 elements, you climb at heights of 3 to 18 metres over net bridges, wobbly planks and swinging ropes. From an easy introduction to tricky pro routes, everyone from beginners to ambitious climbing fans will find the right challenge here. The park is located in the middle of the forest near Lichtenstein, just a few kilometres from Reutlingen.
At Adventure Park Lichtenstein, the first four courses, such as Schloss-Schenke or Pagenweg, start from age 8, and in exceptional cases from age 6 by arrangement. As the difficulty increases, you move on to Ritterschlag from age 10, Husarenritt from age 12, and up to the challenging courses from age 16 and the highest course from age 18. More important than age are height, courage and fitness. Before you start, you’ll be provided with a helmet, climbing harness and safety carabiners, and you’ll complete a briefing at the practice station. Children under 12 climb with supervision; one adult can supervise a maximum of two children.
For refreshments, the nearby Schloss-Schenke and the Restaurant Altes Forsthaus are a great choice. Opposite Adventure Park Lichtenstein there is also a public barbecue area with a children’s playground and a small football pitch; as climbing guests, you get the firewood free of charge. Special experiences include the birthday treasure hunt around King Wilhelm of Württemberg and night climbing on selected dates. With fewer than 10 people, you can simply drop by during opening hours; for 10 or more, registration by email is required. At weekends or when the weather is uncertain, it’s worth giving them a quick call beforehand.

Excellent, safety first and super fun. Different difficulty levels for different people and always someone there to help if needed.
Good for beginners and not too crowed at the weekends. Could be better if more stations for children between 10-14 years old
Too expensive for what is offered. Other parks have better options for far less money.
I had alot of fun
