In the middle of the forest, at the Waldgasthof Schmellbachtal, Climbing Park Stuttgart awaits you with a diverse climbing adventure at dizzying heights. Across 10 courses between 1.5 and 12 meters above the ground, almost 100 elements and 19 zip lines up to 90 meters long await you. The park is located in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, directly extending the popular Siebenmühlental and just a stone’s throw from Stuttgart South. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced climber, everyone aged 6 and up will find the right challenge across four difficulty levels.
At Climbing Park Stuttgart, you can gain your first climbing experience from age 6, provided you reach a gripping height of 1.60 m, which corresponds to a body height of approximately 1.20 m. Children under 13 climb accompanied; from 13, you can go independently. Before you start, our trainers will show you everything important on the introductory course; no prior experience is needed. Safety is ensured by the modern Smart-Belay system from EDELRID, which prevents accidental unhooking. The park is inspected annually by TÜV. For team building, a low ropes course at 50 cm height is also available.
Your climbing time is not limited; experience shows you’ll be in the trees for two to three hours. Directly adjacent, the beer garden with catering and drink and ice cream sales invites you to refuel. However, bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted on the premises. You can lock up bags and backpacks. It’s best to book your slot online in advance, as spontaneous visits are only possible subject to availability due to the limited number of harnesses. School classes, clubs, team events, and children’s birthday parties are also possible outside opening hours upon request.

Exceptional climbing park with a variety of exciting tours and different difficulties. Highly recommended
Beautiful, well kept place excellent food!
I went climbing here again after a long time; the equipment has improved since then, and the facility is still well-maintained. The briefing was quick yet thorough. I can't really comment on the parking situation because a wedding was taking place at the time of our visit, and one of the two parking lots was closed. It would be good if such events were announced directly at the entrance in the future; then we could have parked right at the top.
