Spend the night among storks and parrots

The tree house hotel Vogelpark Marlow offers you an extraordinary overnight stay in the middle of nature. Over 1,200 animals from almost all bird families live on 22 hectares, as well as alpacas, monkeys, lemurs and prairie dogs. You sleep directly in the animal enclosures and experience the park’s inhabitants as close as no one else can.

After the park closes, the surroundings are all yours. You can listen to the nocturnal sounds of nature – from the rustling of leaves to the clattering of storks and bird calls. During the day, you can look forward to show feedings, bird of prey flight shows and walk-through enclosures where curious keas will climb on your shoulder or nibble on your shoelaces.

The Deluxe tree bed is located right next to the walk-in South America area and offers an adventurous place to sleep with a special view. It has two double beds measuring 1.40 x 2.00 m and a small outdoor kitchen with sink, crockery, fridge and kettle. There is a small bathroom on the first floor.

Other accommodation options in the park:

  • Stork’s nest (50 m²): Located directly in the stork complex with a spacious terrace. No private bathroom, but a fantastic view of the storks.
  • Masoala Lodge: overlooks the walk-in Madagascar complex on 4 floors with bedrooms, balconies and bathroom.
  • Dodos Turmstübchen: The largest house in the heart of the park with a small kitchenette.
  • Kea cave: particularly romantic for 2 people. You sleep separated from the keas only by a glass wall with an outdoor solar shower.
  • Outback Lodge: The newest house is located directlyin the kangaroo enclosure and offers space for 4 people.

The bird park is located in northern Germany near Rostock and Stralsund, just 30 minutes from the Baltic Sea peninsula of Fischland-Darß-Zingst. The Recknitz Valley region offers canoe and raft trips as well as hiking, cycling and horse riding.

This bird park is very suitable. For families, there are beautiful exotic birds to see, a playground for children to climb and exercise, beautiful trees and flower gardens, and various bird shows that can be visited according to the program. Recommended to come here.

Amazing! Perfect for Families yo spend the whole day! Multiple playgrounds with different levels of challeges. Loads of animals to see and to get to know on a personal base. Food prices are alright. We watched the parrot show and the guy was hilarious. Seen the Lemurs get fed. It was brilliant!

Good place for children. You can feed animals too. Example: rabits and birds. You can biy the animals food there with Cent (0,50€) or you can buy in shop too. Please be careful not all animals can feeded. For sure: cool panorama.
