In the UplandParcs Sauerland vacation park near Winterberg-Niedersfeld, the tree houses at the Baumhaushotel Winterberg are nestled in the middle of the Sauerland countryside, surrounded by forests and mountains. What makes the location special: the nearest ski area is just 100 meters away, and the go-kart track, restaurant and a lake with water skiing are also within easy walking distance. When you arrive here, you literally have the Sauerland on your doorstep. And when you’ve had enough of the hustle and bustle, simply retreat to the tree house and look out over the treetops from the terrace.
The tree house offers 34 square meters of space for four people. One bedroom with a double bed and a second with bunk beds cover all sleeping needs, even for families with children. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a Nespresso machine, oven, dishwasher and kettle.
In the living room, a pellet stove creates a pleasant atmosphere on colder evenings. On the 24 square meter terrace with garden furniture, you can let your gaze wander over the surrounding treetops. The special highlight: the tree house can be exited not only via the normal stairs, but also via a slide.

The park has plenty to offer families with children: A playground, bouncy cushion, climbing tower, swings and a stream on the park grounds provide plenty of variety. Pets are welcome. In winter, the immediate proximity to the ski area is a real advantage. In summer, there are hiking trails, mountain bike trails and the nearby lake. The park also has a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as ten electric car charging points.

We had an amazing time.
The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, the park was nice and still felt like you had a lot of privacy. The hottub was very nice.
The only downside we experienced was the service. The reception was only open for 2 hours a day. One hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. Also we thought the information about bringing your own towels should be just an email and not a pdf which can ben overlooked so easily.
Also something we thought was very weird was that at the end of our stay we had to make sure everything was clean. Which of course is normal and expected. But for example if we didn’t cleared out the trash bins or removed the bedsheets they could fine you a cleaning fee. But we already pay a cleaning fee for the cleaning. So while we understand that you should leave everything clean and like you found it, we had mixed feelings about it.

Cozy, clean, comfortable bungalows with awesome views of the hills from within and around the bungalows. Hiking trails right off the location is fantastic.
Service is friendly and helpful.
Inside, everything promised is there, including a FULLY stocked kitchen. Dishes, cookware, utensils, cutlery, everything.
They are still building as it is a new park so there are the expected unfinished tasks within the park, but access to the bungalows is not restricted and the workers make sure it remains tidy and a nice place to be. This was our second stay and the progress has been incredible. I am sure when it is finished it will be gorgeous.

Great holiday park. Once you receive your pincode, you can access your unit easily and without the hassle of a key. The units are well equipped, clean, and well maintained. There are many activities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a super week's holiday we enjoyed here. Beautiful hiking straight from our cabin. Dog friendly too. Our cabin was in a great position on the outskirts of the Parc so we enjoyed great views and generally peace and quiet. Service we can't really comment on as we only met actual people the day we left but this was fine as automatic check in and communication beforehand were very good.
