Description

Climbing in Biberach an der Riß at Kletterwald Biberach

In the beautiful Burrenwald forest near Biberach an der Riß, a real adventure awaits you at Kletterwald Biberach among the treetops of Upper Swabia. On nine courses with 85 climbing elements, you’ll climb, balance, and swing through the forest – secured with the modern SMART-Belay system from EDELRID, which makes accidental unhooking impossible. From the gentle children’s course to the 140-meter-long zip line, there’s a suitable challenge for every age group and level of courage.

From the ‘Schwabenstreich’ for the little ones to the ‘Burrensprung’

The youngest climbers, aged 6 and up (and at least 120 cm tall), start in the low ‘Schwabenstreich’ or the beginner’s course ‘Burrengang’ when accompanied by an adult. Those who want more can work their way up through family courses like ‘Spinnenweg’ and ‘Schützenweg,’ until finally the expert courses ‘Römerstraße’ and ‘Schwarz Veri Weg’ await with elements up to 15 meters high. After a detailed half-hour safety briefing, you have about 3 hours to explore the courses at your own pace – safety trainers are always present in the facility and will assist you at any time.

The biggest thrills come at the end: the ‘Biber Blitz,’ the longest flying fox line in the park, and the ‘Burrensprung,’ where you bravely jump from the platform after a 10-meter climb. Around the climbing forest, the Burrenwald invites you to linger – with a large playground, public barbecue areas (please bring your own ingredients), and a large, free parking lot just a two-minute walk away. Non-alcoholic drinks are available on site, and your leashed four-legged friends are also welcome. An all-around perfect day trip for families, school classes, groups, and birthday children.

Excellent option for kids birthday or a gathering with kids. We recently celebrated a 10 year birthday old with a group of 12 kids. It was such a great event. Kids were all overjoyed. Lots of fun and kids happily running and climbing for 3 hours nonstop. The staff was absolutely the best. We'll certainly go back and recommend with highly.

Marvelous place to chill out or to have some fun. Nice, Creative playground, couple of grilling stations. Proprer infrastructure (bike parking, toilets, rubbish bins). Great fun.

Super fun for climbers and not only! The place itself is nice and stuff is very friendly. There is also a playground for very young one for free in the very same place, and grill place! The whole family could have fun there. The only thing that dissapointed me were toilets - not so fresh and no lights, but hey, you are in the forest!
