Find your challenge in the Dresden forest rope park

You are guaranteed to find your own personal challenge on twelve courses of varying difficulty levels with over 100 elements in the Dresden Forest Rope Park. Beginners can gain their first climbing experience close to the ground and slowly work their way up to lofty heights. Climb through ropes and beams, master bridges and obstacles. There is a special course close to the ground for very young children from the age of three, which can be used without a harness.

The forest rope park uses the Class D safety system Smart Belay X by Edelrid. Thanks to this safety technology, it is always guaranteed that at least one carabiner remains in the safety rope. Accidental, complete unhooking is therefore impossible. This means a huge plus in safety, especially for children, teenagers, and school groups.

From a group to a team!

The operators also offer team training consisting of two sections. In the first section, team tasks are solved using elements close to the ground. Examples include the team seesaw, the low ropes course (Mohawk Walk), the spider web, and the trust fall.

In the second section, the team, equipped with harnesses and helmets, can try out a course and a zip line. Instruction and supervision are provided by specially trained staff.

Other activities at the forest rope park

In addition to the climbing courses, there are three tubing runs where you can slide down into the valley on rubber tires. Conveniently, a lift pulls you back up so you can save your strength for the next challenge. A range of snacks and drinks rounds off the perfect day out at the Dresden Forest Rope Park. Are you looking for another excursion nearby? Then take a look at the Sachsendraisine. Young and old can ride together there.

If you need more choice: There is also a blog article with information on all 144 climbing forests in Germany.

That was fun! There are a lot of options for diffrent levels. Before you get started you get a little introduction with some safety advices and employees checking if you use it well. Afterwards you do a quick intro. Once you passed it you get a sticker on your helmet and you can go on your own. Real adventure.

Park is beautiful, has many activities to offer. We had lovely 7 th birthday celebration of our child. The organizers are very prompt in replying. The only minus part that one of the employee came and started shouting at one kid who was invited to the birthday party. She could have come to us and asked us or offer us help in giving instructions to the kids. Her behavior to our guest kid is not right....she not only shouted, made faces and released her frustration. There are many ways to deal such situations but her reaction is not accepted in service industry like this one.

Heaps of fun and something for all ages! After first arriving and coming to terms with the overload of information that you are given as part of the safety briefing, you tend to get into the swing of things quite quickly.Next thing to conquer is your fear of heights, but once you have that under control, you will be rewarded with some physically demanding routes topped off with some ultra cool flying fox runs across the park.

Very focused on a secure and safe environment. Also enough to see and do if you are the fifth wheel and do not climb.
