Experience the forest from a whole new perspective: Kletterwald Illingen is located in the heart of the Enzkreis district between Pforzheim and Vaihingen an der Enz, just about 30 km northwest of Stuttgart. Across 10 courses with around 130 elements at heights of up to 12 m, you’ll climb through the treetops above the former Illinger Klostersee lake – a diverse adventure for families, friends, and groups of all kinds.
The courses are divided into different difficulty levels from easy to difficult, so there’s something for every level, from the starter course at 3–5 m to the net-like Spiderweb course and the challenging Fox courses. The highlights are our zip lines over the Klostersee, totaling around 500 m in length, as well as a 12 m base jump. If you prefer something more relaxed, you can start on a low course at a height of 1–2 m. Children from approx. 1.30 m tall are allowed to climb (between 1.30 m and 1.40 m only when accompanied by an adult). Smaller children can gain their first experience in the free Kids’ Course under supervision.
The climbing forest is ideal for children’s birthday parties, school classes, clubs, companies, and team events – with catering available on the spacious covered terrace upon request. A kiosk with snacks, ice cream, and drinks, as well as modern sanitary facilities, are on-site; well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash. With the combo ticket, you can also climb at the climbing forest in Bretten. A total of 22 courses with around 280 elements across two locations. A special highlight is the moonlight climbing under the stars. Online reservation is recommended; only cash payment is possible on-site.
