Right in the heart of Upper Swabia, in the Tannenbühl forest area near Bad Waldsee, the Tannenbühl climbing park offers you a climbing forest covering around 14,000 m² with a real adventure feel. Across nine courses with a total of 170 elements, you climb from tree to tree, balance, swing, and get your very own adrenaline rush – and all just a stone’s throw from Ravensburg and Lake Constance. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a brave pro: everyone from 3 to 99 will find the right challenge here.
There’s no pressure here – you set your own pace, and thanks to the safety equipment you can easily overtake. The youngest climbers, from around three years old, start on the Kiddy course with 19 low elements under the supervision of parents walking alongside. If you’re taller (from 1.20 m), you work your way up step by step via Family courses 1 to 5 until the challenging courses for advanced climbers and pros are waiting. The large, three-storey central platform is your rest spot: you can take a break here at any time and then jump back into exactly the course you feel like doing.
For a real thrill, there are three zip lines up to 110 metres long at heights of up to 20 metres – plus the Quick Flight, where you plunge down from 20 metres if you dare. You get four hours of climbing time (1.5 hours on the Kiddy course), and even light rain is no reason to cancel: you climb beneath mature deciduous trees that keep off most of the rain. The facility is certified by DEKRA and meets ERCA recommendations – your safety is the top priority. A perfect outing for families, school classes, groups, and anyone looking for adventure in the forest.
